In this position, you will use your outstanding editorial, management, and people skills as a key member of our Editorial Services department. You will make and coordinate writing assignments; recruit and supervise freelance writers; supervise editorial staff members; form productive partnerships with staff in other departments; coordinate the production of proposals; and provide senior-level editorial support. The editorial manager will support in both copy editing and line editing, to help assure the quality of Acstrap’s publications that range from research reports to policy briefs. Primary functions
- Review or spot-check colleagues’ work as assigned to maintain standards and accuracy.
- Help with special projects as assigned, such as tracking corrections and style guide research.
- Project manage large, long‐term products, including cross‐team collaborations, with no oversight.
- Maintain accuracy and overall quality of publications and proactively research ways to make the editorial process more efficient.
- Independently copy edit, post content on websites.
- Participate in planning and brainstorming of new digital strategies to help elevate products and projects.
