The African Trade and Development Policy Program (ATDP) provides a direct platform to analyze and manufacture innovative and feasible hands-on policies to specifically bolster Africa’s trade potential and economic development, with an additional mandate to reinforce US-Africa trade relations. Additionally, ATDP has a mission to develop an innovative statistical approach to create an index capable of tracking social economic developments in Sub-Sub-Saharan Africa on a yearly basis. ADTP will launch its first semi-annual outlook report in 2021 named “The State of US-Africa Trade Relations” initiated to shed light on economic relations between the United States and several key Sub-Saharan African countries. ATDP draws funding from global private corporations, USAID, the African diaspora, and the African Union. ADTP joins with key African and US policymakers to assess yearly economic goals from their respective perspectives.
