EU—Africa Relations

Africa and Europe are connected by close business, geographical, and historical ties. Certainly, relations between African countries and Europe are old and are based on a heavy colonial history, important cultural and commercial exchanges, and obvious economic and political links. How can EU—Africa development cooperation serve as a force for improved international understanding?
