Guided by a mission to highlight and track positive trends in Africa, the Acstrap Center aims to spread great ideas and opportunities about Africa. It does so by publishing essays and reports, policy briefs, book reviews, running educational programs, and sponsoring lectures aimed at informing the world about Africa and its people.

The Research Assistant position is for graduates, scholars, experts, practitioners interested in African affairs. The Research Assistant will conduct online research, and analysis, gather information from various news sources and assist in drafting two major publications at Acstrap: Africa Today and the Monthly Africa Brief. The Research Assistant will also have some opportunity to publish blogs, attend lectures and briefings. Both publications are focused on analyzing the news and highlighting positive trends across Africa.
