Media and Communications Manager

Primary Functions

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to effectively engage the organization’s audience and improve the organization’s online profile
  • Oversee the design, development and editorial process for the monthly newsletter and Call for Submissions
  • Oversee the Media and Communications team’s social calendar
  • Lead the Media and Communications team

Basic Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or relevant field
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week
